FRIGG
WORDS FROM FRIGG’S NEW ADOPTERS: We will admit, just like many other people throughout the pandemic, we were struggling mentally, all of our family. Bringing Frigg home was the best thing we could have ever done.
We had heard about RAD on Instagram and decided to follow them. We kept telling ourselves that we wouldn’t adopt another dog because we couldn’t deal with the heartbreak of when they pass away, and the dog we have is already 16 years old and probably wouldn’t want another dog around... boy were we wrong! (Best friends now)
Our story happened rather quickly from seeing a picture on Instagram, to filling out a foster form, to receiving a phone call a couple hours later, to receiving a house visit the next day and two days later picking up this dog we knew nothing about. It all happened so fast that we were having some anxiety about it, but once we met Frigg we felt at ease. This long haired dog with long legs and big eyes was handed over to us and we still couldn’t believe this was happening. Once we got him in the car he was rubbing his nose on everything and wanted to cuddle and snuggle us. He was the cutest guy ever. That first night, we learnt that Frigg was friendly with everyone he met, loved belly rubs, and I think we knew we would have to adopt him and love him forever.
We can’t even remember a time where Frigg wasn’t on his spot on the couch stretching out or getting excited for his walks anytime you’re near a door! Thank you RAD for saving him and getting him to us. He’s made us all feel whole and happy again and we will love him forever
