LÉA

Léa was brought to our attention from a Good Samaritan in Montreal. She was living her life in a metal crate never going outside except the odd time on the balcony to relieve herself. She wasn’t fed regularly and had never gone to a vet. We were able to get her surrendered to us. She was adopted into a great family that love her so much! She also has new bffs and loves to run around and play.

WORDS FROM LÉA’S NEW ADOPTERS: Lea was posted on social media by RAD, saying that she needed a foster family ASAP. We already had 2 dogs at home so I knew we could have been helpful to her.  She came from a home where all she knew was the inside of her cage.  No vaccines, no vet visits and no attention or exercise.  Lea came to us in early June 2019, and she was shy but curious and very snuggly.  A week in, her adorable personality started coming through.  Very adventurous, playful, very lovable and an all-round cutie.  She fit right into our little family, and got along really well with our other two. There were some potential families who expressed an interest but thankfully didn’t pan out.  To be honest, I couldn’t bear the thought of someone else taking care of her. By the beginning of July we officially decided to adopt her and grow our family to 3 fur babies. Her personality has exploded since then, and she has really come into her own.  Anyone who meets her immediately falls in love with her.  You can’t help it, she demands the lovies! Since we adopted her, she has managed to earn herself a new nickname; we call her our little pain in the butt!  She definitely keeps us on our toes, not a dull moment! We wouldn’t have it any other way.
