WORDS FROM LEO’S NEW ADOPTERS: Having been a dog owner in the past, I knew that one day I would once again own a little furry BFF. After having 3 kids, we realized there was only 1 thing missing to complete our family... a dog! When we heard about RAD, we knew our mission would be to adopt a rescue. When we heard about the Manitoba mission and the dogs who were rescued from a dump in northern Manitoba, we looked through the pups up for adoption and instantly fell in love with Leo (formerly Thumper). It was love at first sight! We had our home visit and picked him up the next day! From day 1 he came into our family and filled our hearts with so much love. A playful, fun, happy pup, he was the missing puzzle piece to our family. Leo loves spending time with us, loves to play outside in the yard, and loves to eat! He has become a best friend to the kids, loving every single moment with them.

We are so incredibly thankful to the wonderful kind souls at RAD who work night and day to rescue dogs and allow families like ours to give these dogs a second chance at life and love! We definitely encourage others to go the rescue route, as these dogs have so much love to give!
