WORDS FROM MAX’S NEW ADOPTERS: We found RAD with the help of social media, right as they were preparing for their Manitoba rescue mission. We applied to foster one of the incoming dogs, not knowing what kind of pup we would be getting. When we showed up to pick up our foster dog and they presented us with Max, our hearts could have exploded. He was only 8 weeks old when we brought him home with us, he cried in the car for a few minutes but then sweetly fell asleep in my lap the rest of the way home and I knew it would be impossible to give him up. Over the next few days and weeks his playful and mischievous, but equally sweet personality came out and absolutely delighted us. We now refer to him as Jekyll and Hyde because he can be extremely calm and sweet one moment and a crazy monster the next, but we love that about him. In the short amount of time we were fostering he had already brought so much joy to our lives, we knew we wanted to make him a forever member of our family and decided to officially adopt him.

Working with RAD has been an incredible experience. The whole team is filled with amazing and kind-hearted people, who were there to support us through the fostering and adoption process. We highly recommend both fostering and adopting from them, and are happy to continue supporting their ongoing rescue efforts. We hope that we will one day be able to foster another dog in need with RAD. Thank you for rescuing our baby Max and for choosing us to love him for the rest of his life.
