Flip and her brother Flop, along with with the rest of their litter and their parents, were taken into protective custody after being rescued from a negligent situation. These pups did NOT have a good start in life. They clearly had not any received necessary care - they came to us with almost every parasite that exists!

Flip was a little reserved when she first arrived with RAD. She preferred to hide behind her brother and take her time to come and meet new people. Once she moved to a loving and calm foster home she started to blossom! She has become even more curious than her brother, and is starting to really enjoy walking outside. She is curious and playful, and is starting explore her surroundings.

Like any growing puppy, Flip requires training, enrichment and mental stimulation. As a working breed, this is even more important! She is not yet housebroken but has started to do some of her business outside. She is mid teething phase and for her, this means everything is fair game. Her future family will need to provide her with lots of safe objects for her to chew on - or else she may just use your toes instead! She is pretty eager to play though, so she will usually let you go if you offer her a rope toy or a ball in exchange.

Flip will be an active and energetic dog as an adult, and her ideal forever family would be one that is ready for lots of training and activities with their dog. She will want to learn and work, and for dogs like her this is just as important as any other need like sleeping or eating.
