Knox had a rough start in life, but since joining the RAD family, he’s become a true gem!

True to his breed, Knox is an affectionate, energetic, loyal, playful and smart boy. With his foster, he spends his days running and playing outside, socializing with his dog friends and learning. He is a social boy, who is friendly and eager to meet new people. Everyone who meets Knox instantly sees how happy he is - he’s a ball of joy, and you can’t help but to be happy when he’s around.

Knox is a lot of dog. He has a lot of energy, and needs a family with time, space and at least some level of dog knowledge. While he is very sweet and loving, he is also athletic and strong. He can easily jump 5 feet if he wants to, and he loves to play rough with other dogs. He still pulls on leash, and will need a family willing to continue working on his leash and life skills. He would not do well in an apartment or condo, as he really likes to sing - like a true Malamute!

His ideal home would have a secure yard for him to play and run in, or to just hang out outside in. He can live with another dog, so long as introductions are done properly. He is not a fan of unneutered male dogs, and therefore could not live with one. He chases cats, squirrels and other small animals, so would not be compatable in a home with a cat. He would be ok living with kids - but only older ones, as he would knock over small children when playing or running. We will only place him with kids 12+. More than anything, Knox would love a home where he can play and cuddle with his people, and find his forever home.
