ABOUT :
MY PAST LIFE:
Odin was a seizure from a drug raid in a county in California. His owner was arrested and put in jail. Odin was seized by the officers who contacted our rescue partner in Los Angeles Tye Friis from Reversed Rescue. Prior to being in Reversed Rescue’s care, Odin and his owners spent each day outside. They lived in a camper but never a house. We have committed to bringing Odin to Montreal. He will be flying back with our co-founder Yossi on April 22 nd. We would love to have Odin go directly into a foster to adopt home.
NOW:
Odin is a happy go lucky boy with a lot of energy! This boy loves to be active and go on a lot of adventures, no matter the weather. He also loves to get some mental stimulation and enjoys training. If he doesn’t get the following daily it will be harder for him to have an “off switch”. His future adopters need to have an active lifestyle and MUST have experience with large dogs, experience with shepherds is a plus. His future owners will need to have a good understanding on training, if not, a professional trainer will need to be hired for proper guidance. Odin is your typical Malinois. We kindly ask before applying to please do research on the breed. Daily training is important for him, he needs structure and boundaries. He will test his boundaries to see what he can get away with, he’s smart! Odin is friendly, goofy, agile and smart. He would be your best friend for life as he’s extremely loyal. He is not the best on leash but is learning. He likes to play with other nice dogs but he would rather be with his human(s) learning tricks, chasing toys, and doing outdoor adventures. Odin is not a dog for dog parks. If you are patient, dedicated, love working and exploring with dogs and looking for your next best friend, this is the boy for you.
Odin would do best in a quiet neighbourhood in a townhouse or house with a yard as he loves to be outside.
